How to join the BSO
The BSO welcomes musicians who are interested in joining the orchestra.
The Brooklyn Symphony is one of New York City's most respected community organizations, and owes much of its continued success to the commitment of its players. Joining the BSO requires that each player commits to attending all rehearsals as required (all Monday evenings - early September through early June - five Wednesday dress rehearsals, and five Sunday concerts per season). The Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra is a non-professional orchestra and is volunteer. No members of the orchestra are paid.
Please refer to the rehearsal schedule for details.
